I'm right back like I left something.

Well, actually, I'm back like I went on an extended vacation. It's been, what? A month or two since i've lasted posted on this thing?

It feels good to back. As I type, memories of past blogging moments rush to my head. I really don't know what caused me to abandon my blog. Oh, yes, I do.

I spent 800$ on this mixer and I've spent the past few weeks working my ass off trying to pay for it. Yeah, I know that's a lot of dough to be spending on equipment being that I'm a broke college student who gets paid only $7.50 an hour, but the mixer has magnetic faders that NEVER BLEEEEED!!! I figure that spending $800 bucks on a mixer that will virtually last forever is better than spending $400 on one that is going to choke on me after a year.

Since my last post I have had my first gig.

It was an 80s night. I played 80s music. I was nervous.

But I had fun.

I didn't really have a problem with mixing or anything technical. The only thing that worked my nerves was not having all of the records that people were requesting.

All of my friends who came out said that I did a pretty good job. I want to believe them. I hope they aren't just telling me that just because they are afraid of hurting my feelings.
